This is a hybrid sales position: firstly, to increase our client’s customer base in Australia and New Zealand and therefore their revenue in academic libraries. Proactively identify sales opportunities and contact prospective customers, manage long-term sales cycle and negotiate with buyers in the library environment. Support end-users and faculty experts by conducting product demonstrations. Maintain and grow the strong base of recuring business with key stakeholders and develop new contacts and relationships. Assists in developing overall marketing, outreach and sales objectives for a territory. Executes sales plans for territory.
Secondly, our client launched their SaaS product Quartex in to the ANZ market in 2019 – this position will be expected to grow the existing customer base, prospecting opportunities in the academic, GLAM and corporate sectors. You will be working closely with the Head of International Sales and the Head of Customer Experience to create opportunities and execute demos of our product to prospective clients.

Skills you’ll have:
You will be a Field Sales and Business Development Professional with a passion for our products combined with a strong interest in the Humanities and demonstrate:
- Field sales experience and relationship experience with customers in the region having regularly achieved sales goals
- A degree in a relevant subject, preferably Humanities
- 3-5 years’ sales experience
- Experience with CRM systems and of working with academic libraries
You will ideally be located in or around Melbourne (however other locations will be considered).
